From Sorong port, the public express ferry to Waisai on Waigeo Island (Raja Ampat\’s capital) takes approximately 2–3 hours — fares from ~70,000–120,000 IDR (~$4–8 USD). Departures roughly twice daily. From Waisai, most guesthouses and liveaboard operators arrange boat pickups to your accommodation. Alternatively, private speedboat charters from Sorong to Waisai from ~$80–150 USD.
