Lomprayah and Seatran Discovery both operate high-speed catamarans from Mae Haad pier on Koh Tao to Thong Sala pier on Koh Phangan — approximately 1 hour, fares from ~300–400 THB (~$9–11 USD). Multiple daily departures, roughly every 2–3 hours from early morning to mid-afternoon. Lomprayah is generally the most punctual and comfortable. Book at least a week ahead and arrive at Mae Haad pier early.
