Ferry Koh Lanta to Koh Phi Phi (High Season Nov–Apr)
Passenger ferries run from Saladan pier (north Koh Lanta) to Ton Sai Bay on Koh Phi Phi Don — approximately 1.5 hours, fares from ~250–350 THB (~$7–10 USD). Departures typically once or twice daily in high season (~08:30 and ~13:00). Operated by Pha-Nga Kanjana and similar companies. The ferry is the direct and obvious option in high season — sit on the open deck for views of the karst islands en route.

Low Season (May–Oct): Minivan + Ferry via Krabi
Direct ferries between Lanta and Phi Phi are often suspended May–October. In low season, take the minivan from Koh Lanta to Krabi Town (~2–2.5 hours, ~200–300 THB), then the Krabi → Koh Phi Phi ferry (~1.5 hours, ~250–350 THB). Total approximately 4–5 hours with the connection. Not ideal but the only realistic option when direct services stop.
