Lembongan vs Nusa Penida — Which to Choose?
Nusa Lembongan is smaller, flatter, and more relaxed — ideal for 2–3 days of slow travel, cliff-top sundowners, mangrove tours, and surf. Nusa Penida is larger, more dramatic (Kelingking cliff, Angel\’s Billabong), better for snorkeling with manta rays, but roads are rougher. Many travelers do both on a multi-day Nusa Triangle trip — Lembongan → Ceningan → Penida, connected by local boats.
ℹ️ Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan are connected by a bright yellow suspension bridge — you can walk or ride a scooter between them. From Ceningan or Lembongan, local boats run to Nusa Penida (~30 minutes). No need to return to Bali between the three islands.
