Several operators (Biaramas, PB Express) run overnight buses from Kuching\’s Kuching Sentral bus terminal to Miri — approximately 13–15 hours, fares from ~RM 70–100 (~$15–21 USD). Departures typically in the evening. The road passes through Sibu and Bintulu — you can break the journey in either city. A very long journey; only worth it on an extreme budget or if you want to see the Sarawak interior.
